Description (Trolls)

From the creators of Shrek comes DreamWorks Animation’s Trolls, a smart, funny and irreverent comedy about the search for happiness, and just how far some will go to get it. This hilarious film transports audiences to a colorful, wondrous world populated by the overly optimistic Trolls, who have a constant dance in their step and a song on their lips, and the comically pessimistic Bergens, who are only happy when they have Trolls in their stomachs. After the Bergens invade Troll Village, Poppy (Kendrick), the happiest Troll ever born, and the overly-cautious curmudgeonly Branch (Timberlake) set off on a journey to rescue her friends. Together, this mismatched duo embarks on a mission full of adventure and mishaps – trying to tolerate each other long enough to get the job done. Utilizing music to further the film's narrative, the Trolls soundtrack is produced by Justin Timberlake and features original songs by Justin Timberlake and Gwen Stefani, in addition to a number of classic hits from the ‘60s – ‘80s.

  • A cinematic masterpiece

    By SkittleHigh
This movie has completely and utterly changed my life for the better. Before this movie I was a depressed and dispirirted teen with nothing to live for but a constant aching pain that only the very few enjoyments in life could fulfill. Trolls helped me see past my dark days and has awken my senses. I now see that life is cupcakes and rainbows. I would like to sincerely thank the Dreamworks team for creating a cinematic masterpiece that greatly surpasses Titanic and The Notebook in my utmost expert scholarly cinematic opinion. Thank you for making my dreams possible.

  • A new low for Dreamworks Animation.

One of the worst animated kid's movies in recent memory. The story is tired and clichéd, the animation and voice acting is subpar at best, and the characters are one-sided and bland. The only inspired and genuinely humorous moment in the entire film is the all-too-brief "Cloud Guy" scene, which lasts for about five minutes. This movie was not worthy of Justin Timberlake. If you like seizure-inducing, psychedelic colors and constant potty humor, then this is the movie for you.

This is a great movie! Justin Timberlake did a great job at that grumpy troll Branch. I see it every day thanks to a family member.
